The joint SSC sub-panel, comprised of SSC members from both the New England and Mid-Atlantic Fishery Management Councils, will meet via webinar on Friday, September 23, 2023 from 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. The purpose of the meeting is for the sub-panel to review and provide input on methods for designating Essential Fish Habitat (EFH) and Habitat Areas of Particular Concern (HAPC). This input will help support the development of the Council’s Omnibus Essential Fish Habitat Amendment.
